Week 10 NFL FanDuel Salary Movers

Things can change quickly in fantasy football. To quote Ferris Bueller -- "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."

We're here to "look around" and make sure we don't miss any week-to-week salary changes that could pay dividends on FanDuel.

Perhaps a player had an outlier performance and saw their salary rise too high, making them a sub-optimal play. Or, maybe a player saw an increase in their role but played on Monday night after salaries for the following week's slate already came out, and therefore they haven't been priced accordingly.

This week's article will take a look at which players' salaries have changed the most from Week 9 to Week 10.

Now that you're ready, let's get to it!

Quarterback

Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals

Week 9 Salary: $7,200
Week 10 Salary: $7,700

Kyler Murray and the Arizona Cardinals are coming off a 28-25 loss to the San Francisco 49ers on Thursday night. The rookie from Oklahoma bounced-back from poor outings against the New Orleans Saints and New York Giants, completing 17 of 24 passes for 241 yards and two touchdowns. He rushed five times for an additional 34 yards, posting 23.04 FanDuel points. The final box score looks good but without an 88-yard catch and run to the house by Andy Isabella late in the game, Murray likely would have finished below 20 FanDuel points for the sixth time this year.

Quarterback pricing at this point of the season is tight; with the top ten for Week 10 separated by just $1,000. Murray slates eighth on the scale at $7.700, up $500 from last week thanks to a duel against Jameis Winston and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. This game carries the highest over/under on the slate at 51.5 points with the Bucs as 4.5 point home favorites. Russell Wilson just shredded this defense for 378 yards and five touchdowns and while Murray is only $200 cheaper than Winston, you may need all the savings you can find to afford Christian McCaffrey at $10,500. This is a stackable game but it will be difficult to get too many pieces given the increased salaries for what looks to be another high-scoring affair.

Other Big Movers:

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens: $8,200 | $8,600
Jameis Winston, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: $7,500 | $7,900
Jacoby Brissett, Indianapolis Colts: $7,300 | $7,600

Running Back

Jaylen Samuels, Pittsburgh Steelers

Week 9 Salary: $5,000
Week 10 Salary: $6,200

It's always nice to have a running back free square for your DFS lineups. A cheap back who will get the majority of the touches helps smooth out some tougher choices when you're trimming your player pool. On Sunday, that was Jaylen Samuels, who filled-in for the injured James Conner. Samuels' was owned in nearly 80 percent of head-to-heads on the main slate. He garnered just eight carries for ten yards but was a major part of the passing game. A do-it-all player from N.C. State where he also caught passes from the tight end position, Samuels led the Steelers in every receiving category; catching all 13 of his targets for 73 yards for 12.8 FanDuel points.

Samuels' touches, more so than his performance, has boosted his salary up to $6,200, making him the biggest mover of the week at any position. Conner's status for Sunday is still uncertain as of the time of this article. However, it's likely he starts the practice week with a "limited" designation. If Conner's shoulder does not improve, Samuels looks to be in-line once again for a healthy workload against the Los Angeles Rams who give up over 21 FanDuel points per game to running backs. As 3.5 point home underdogs, it's not a great spot for Steelers offense in general, especially if Mason Rudolph continues to struggle under center.

Other Big Movers:

Christian McCaffrey, Carolina Panthers: $9,700 | $10,500
Mark Ingram, Baltimore Ravens: $7,300 | $8,000
Ronald Jones, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: $5,600 | $6,300

Wide Receiver

Zach Pascal, Indianapolis Colts

Week 9 Salary: $5,300
Week 10 Salary: $6,400

If you read J.J.'s 15 transactions article, then seeing Zach Pascal on this list shouldn't be a surprise. T.Y. Hilton suffered a calf injury during practice last Wednesday and is looking at a multiple week absence. The Colts wide receiver corps was already down Devin Funchess and rookie Parris Campbell has also missed time with his own ailments. Pascal stepped into the top receiver role, leading the Colts with five receptions on six targets for 76 yards and a touchdown. The 16.1 FanDuel points mark his second-best game of year, topped only by a two-touchdown, 25.6 FanDuel point game against the Houston Texans two weeks prior.

Through eight weeks, Pascal had an 11 percent target share and 15 percent of the air yards. However, it's important to note he didn't see a target until Week 4. Now the entire Indianapolis Colts team gets a slight bump in salary based on their match-up against the Miami Dolphins. Combine that with Pascal's expanded role and production and biggest mover at the position this week, up $1,100 and in the same salary range as Sammy Watkins and Golden Tate. Our projections have Pascal slated for 9.3 FanDuel points and the Colts have the fourth-highest implied team total on the slate at 27.25 points.

Other Big Movers:

Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: $8,100 | $8,600
Marvin Jones, Detroit Lions: $5,700 | $6,600
Marquez Valdes-Scantling, Green Bay Packers: $6,300 | $5,500

Tight End

Mike Gesicki, Miami Dolphins

Week 9 Salary: $4,800
Week 10 Salary: $5,3
00

The Miami Dolphins earned their first win of the season against the New York Jets, thanks in part to tight end Michael Gesicki's performance. The second-year product from Penn State had a career day with six catches for 95 yards and 12.5 FanDuel points. An increase of $500 is all that was needed for Gesicki to be the biggest mover at tight end this week.

It's hard to trust any Dolphins player for DFS purposes. This week is no exception as the Dolphins have the lowest implied team total once again at just 16.75 points. If there's hope for a bigger role for Gesicki moving forward it's due to Preston Williams' season-ending ACL tear. Williams led the team in both target share and market share of air yards through eight weeks. Gesicki gets a decent shot this week to keep his expanded role going against the Colts who surrender 11.50 FaDuel points per game to tight ends.

Other Big Movers:

Evan Engram, New York Giants: $6,800 | $6,400
Jonnu Smith, Tennessee Titans: $5,500 | $5,100
Eric Ebron, Indianapolis Colts: $5,200 | $4,900
