4 NFL FanDuel Value Plays to Target in Week 10

Identifying key value plays are of paramount importance when it comes to daily fantasy football. Luckily for you, our NFL projections are ready to roll, and our value category is brimming with potential slate-winning targets. If you need a salary saving option, consider plugging in one of these guys into your lineup.

Ryan Tannehill, QB, Tennessee Titans ($7,200)

The Tennessee Titans are currently 4.5-point underdogs as they travel to face the hosting Kansas City Chiefs. The Titans have a 22.00-point implied team total and could find themselves in a situation where throwing the football is necessary to keep pace with the Chiefs offense.

If this comes to fruition, then Ryan Tannehill will have an opportunity to score a ton of FanDuel points and be a tremendous value at just $7,200. As it stands, Tannehill has been fantastic over the last three weeks as the Titans' starting quarterback. He has accumulated 7 total touchdowns (6 passing and 1 rushing) while racking up FanDuel scores of 20.18, 19.42, and 25.04 points. Those are incredibly consistent scores, and he should have every chance to replicate the nice trend.

He has thrown the ball 29, 33, and 39 times in those three games and has also has led the entire offense to 23, 27, and 20 points scored as a unit, something the team had only done one time this season since the Week 1 opener against the Cleveland Browns. If the Chiefs go out ahead on the scoreboard, then Tannehill will drop back plenty of times in this matchup. While this is certainly more of a tournament target, it is one with a decent scoring floor and a very strong ceiling at his current price tag.

Jamaal Williams, RB, Green Bay Packers ($5,600)

This is the second straight week that Jamaal Williams has shown up in this column. In Week 9, I highlighted his surprisingly consistent scoring floor. He happened to continue showing us that floor when he scored another 13.90 FanDuel points against the Los Angeles Chargers. While the Green Bay Packers are 5.5-point favorites against the visiting Carolina Panthers, Williams should once again get a chance to provide strong value for your lineups.

In the seven games that he has finished this season, Williams has scored 9.60 or more points in six of them. On top of that, he has scored 21.60, 11.10, 17.10, and 13.90 in the last four games since returning from injury. He is being used as a playmaker in an offense suddenly lacking true threats. Williams has hauled in four receiving touchdowns in the last four games and even rushed one in a couple of weeks ago against the Chiefs. Those 5 touchdowns, along with 17 receptions on 19 targets, have made him a very unique option for DFS.

While his snap counts are not for the faint of heart (32 or less in three-of-four games since the injury), he continues to get the ball on those snaps. He has 43 touches on 119 snaps and has racked up a total of 252 yards. Again, he is finding ways to produce, and the Packers are feeding him the ball when he is on the field.

D.J. Moore, WR, Carolina Panthers ($5,800)

Surprisingly, D.J. Moore had just a $400 increase on his price tag ($5,400 in Week 9) after he busted out for a fantastic game against the Titans. Unsurprisingly, Moore is in this article (just like Jamaal Williams) for a second straight week. Until the FanDuel algorithm increases their price tags, they remain fantastic bargains.

Moore went out and had himself a fine game with Kyle Allen under center. He played in 67-of-71 snaps and was targeted 10 times! In fact, he has been targeted 8, 10, 9, and 10 times in the last four games, with Allen clearly starting to favor Moore. D.J. has returned the favor by hauling in 25 receptions for 303 yards receiving over that span, and he had 7 receptions for 101 yards receiving in that clash with the Titans.

While the Panthers are currently underdogs against the Green Bay Packers, there is potential for Allen to have to throw the ball often if the Packers' offense gets cooking early. If that happens, then Moore should have a decent opportunity to rack up double-digit targets once again.

Jack Doyle, TE, Indianapolis Colts ($5,200)

Truly, at tight end bargain pricing, we are hoping for a touchdown. Targets often won't be plentiful at the cheaper price range or else those players would be priced higher. Normally, these players in the budget saving range are extremely volatile or lacking talent.

Luckily for us, Jack Doyle is just $5,200. Doyle has had some success in this league as a starting tight end. On top of that, T.Y. Hilton is expected to miss this game against the Miami Dolphins. This would be the second time that Hilton has missed a game. Between the two games without Hilton, Doyle has produced 7 receptions for 44 yards receiving and scored 2 touchdowns.

What makes the touchdowns look less fluky is the fact that in both games without T.Y., Doyle has tallied two red-zone targets. He seemingly becomes the number one red-zone option in this scenario, and he has come through in the clutch for the Indianapolis Colts. Fire him up as a punt option, albeit a moderately low-ceiling option at best.
