FanDuel Single-Game Daily Fantasy Football Helper: Week 10 Monday Night

Two NFC West opponents are set to face-off tonight, where the visiting Seattle Seahawks will look to hand the San Francisco 49ers their first loss of the season.

For those unfamiliar, single-game slates feature five flex spots with identical scoring to the main slate. However, kickers are included in these contests, and there is an "MVP" roster slot. The MVP receives 1.5-times his total fantasy points, making this spot crucial.

Bookmakers currently have the 49ers as 6.5-point home favorites and the over/under set at 47.5 points. The over is holding 76% of the bets from the public, pointing towards a higher-scoring game, according to oddsFire.

MVP Considerations

Russell Wilson ($16,000) - Wilson is pushing towards a shot at the MVP this season, so it's natural that he comes in at the top of our projections tonight with 19.0 FanDuel points, nearly 2.5 points higher than the next player. The Seahawks have an implied team total sitting at 20.50 and are +6.5-point road underdogs. This should lead them to pass the ball in order to catch up in this game. By no means is this going to be an easy matchup for Wilson, as the 49ers are allowing the fewest FanDuel points to opposing quarterbacks this season, at only 9.5 per game.

If there is any quarterback who can get it done, it just might be Wilson, who is leading the league with 2.44 passing touchdowns per game. He is the highest-priced player on the slate but has flashed 30-point upside multiple times this season, making him a great candidate for the MVP spot tonight.

Jimmy Garoppolo ($15,000) - Jimmy G certainly doesn't jump to the top of the list when thinking about an elite QB, but given the matchup, he has a chance to excel tonight. The Seahawks have allowed over 300 yards or multiple passing touchdowns in three of their last five games, falling in line with their season average -- allowing 19.7 FanDuel points per game to opposing quarterbacks.

Garoppolo is our second-highest projected player at 16.7 FanDuel points but is a clear step behind Wilson, as the 49ers could be in a spot to run the ball if they hold the lead.

Tyler Lockett ($13,500) - Lockett is an absolute fantasy monster this season and comes in with five or more receptions in four straight games, two straight games over 100 yards, and three touchdowns in this span. He is putting up numbers every single game and is clearly the number one option in the Seahawks' passing game. Lockett owns a 27.18% market share of targets o=in Seattle, which is the highest by 8%. He also has 81 total targets this season, 22 higher than the next receiver -- D.K. Metcalf.

With the Seahawks set to be trailing in this game, they should turn to the passing game and present Lockett with the ideal game script to maximize fantasy production.

Value Plays

Ross Dwelley ($5,000) - The 49ers have George Kittle listed as doubtful for this game, meaning there could be a massive opening in their passing game. Ross Dwelley is the only healthy tight end the 49ers have on the roster, and he comes in at the absolute minimum salary tonight. Kittle owns a 27% market share of targets, which is the highest on the team, with the next receiver being at only 14%. There are a ton of targets to go around in the passing game if Kittle is ruled out, and Dwelley presents an extreme value play.

The savings on Dwelley are immense tonight, so expect plenty of ownership on him since he eases roster construction overall.

Josh Gordon ($7,000) - Gordon hasn't played in a month and is set to make his debut for the Seahawks tonight. Gordon wasn't listed on the final injury report for Seattle, but he also wasn't officially ruled in for this game. It might come to a game-time decision, but the upside Gordon offers with his downfield threat is almost unmatched on this slate.

The 49ers are only allowing 22.5 FanDuel points per game to wide receivers -- the sixth-lowest in the league --, but if we buy into the game script that the Seahawks will be trailing, the big-play potential from Gordon could help them jump back into the game.

Deebo Samuel ($8,000) - As mentioned above, 49ers' tight end George Kittle is set to miss this game, and their passing production will be shifted elsewhere. Samuel comes into this game with five or more targets in two of his last three games, three or more receptions in three-straight games, but no touchdowns. His 14% market share of targets is the second-highest on the team, putting him in a great spot to see an expanded role, as it seems he already has a connection with Jimmy Garoppolo.

Many people might shift the 49ers' targets to Emmanuel Sanders -- which is certainly a great option -- but Sanders is expensive. So, if you are on the hunt for cheaper options who should see volume, Samuel could be the answer.
