7 Fantasy Football Sleepers for Week 11

If you're digging into your bench or the waiver wire for help in Week 11, you might be in luck. Due to some recent injuries, there are more quality sleepers with low ownership available than usual -- especially at the running back position, which is typically light on high-upside sleepers at this point in the season.

For the purposes of this list, we'll limit sleeper selections to any player with less than 75 percent ownership on Yahoo's fantasy football platform. Additionally, I'll select one super-sleeper, with under 10 percent ownership, to help out those of you who may be playing in deeper leagues. All references to betting totals and spreads are from the NCAAF odds.

Derek Carr, QB, Oakland Raiders

Yahoo Ownership: 57 percent

Derek Carr draws one of his easiest matchups of his season at home against the Cincinnati Bengals. Over their last five outings, opposing quarterbacks have posted at least 20 points against the Bengals in each game. Carr has not demonstrated a high ceiling this year -- he's topped 20 points just once -- but he's playing well and could break out against this struggling Cincy defense. In his last three games, Carr is averaging 8.6 yards per attempt with six touchdowns and zero interceptions.

Brian Hill, RB, Atlanta Falcons

Yahoo Ownership: 44 percent

The Atlanta Falcons running back depth chart has been decimated by injuries with backup Ito Smith being placed in injured reserve last week, followed by Devonta Freeman going down with a foot injury on Sunday. Freeman's injury left Brian Hill to carry the load the rest of the way against the New Orleans Saints and, as of Wednesday afternoon, head coach Dan Quinn stated Freeman was "a long shot" to play in Week 11. Hill managed just 61 yards on20 carries against the Saints, but if he's the feature back on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers, he's worth consideration for your lineup based on his expected volume.

J.D. McKissic, RB, Detroit Lions

Yahoo Ownership: 26 percent

J.D. McKissic's value will be dependent on the health of Ty Johnson, who suffered a concussion last week and was still in concussion protocol as of Wednesday. McKissic has a small amount of value independent of Johnson's status based on his 10.4 percent target share over the last five weeks, tops among Detroit Lions running backs. If Johnson can't go, however, McKissic ascends to the top of the depth chart and should see a significant share of Detroit's rushing attempts as well. With Johnson missing most of last week's game against the Chicago Bears, McKissic finished with 10 carries and also saw seven targets in the passing game. If that's the type of usage he can expect to see in a full game as the starter, McKissic will have a high ceiling against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.

Cole Beasley, WR, Buffalo Bills

Yahoo Ownership: 33 percent

Buffalo Bills slot receiver Cole Beasley has been remarkably consistent, scoring between nine and 14 points (PPR scoring) in all but one game. This week he'll have a slightly higher ceiling than usual against the Miami Dolphins. According to Sports Info Solutions, Miami is allowing 9.5 yards per attempt to slot receivers, the fourth-highest rate in the league.

Deebo Samuel, WR, San Francisco 49ers

Yahoo Ownership: 27 percent

Over the last two weeks, Deebo Samuel leads the San Francisco 49ers with 18 targets, a 22.2 percent target share. 11 of those targets came on Monday night, while George Kittle was sidelined. The 49ers have already announced Kittle will be unavailable for Week 11, which likely means Samuel will be in line for another significant workload. He also draws a favorable matchup this week against the Arizona Cardinals, who are allowing 9.3 yards per target to slot receivers, according to Sports Info Solutions.

Vance McDonald, TE, Pittsburgh Steelers

Yahoo Ownership: 53 percent

Vance McDonald has fallen short of expectations this season, but he has seen an increased workload in recent weeks and draws a favorable matchup against the Cleveland Browns on Thursday night. According to Sports Info Solutions, the Browns are allowing 9.3 yards per target to tight ends, the fourth-highest rate in the league. Over the last two weeks, McDonald is second on the Pittsburgh Steelers with 14 targets (seven in each game), with four of those targets coming in the red zone.

Super Sleeper: Ryan Finley, QB, Cincinnati Bengals

Yahoo Ownership: 3 percent

Ryan Finley posted 8.9 fantasy points in his first career start against the Baltimore Ravens, but he draws a significantly more favorable matchup this week against the Raiders. In five of Oakland's nine games, the opposing starting quarterback has posted at least 20 fantasy points and they're allowing an average of 22.4 points per game, tied for the fourth-most in the league. Finley also demonstrated a connection with Tyler Boyd, connecting on six of eight targets for 62 yards. That bodes well for this particular matchup, as Oakland is allowing 9.6 yards per target to slot receivers, third-most in the league, according to Sports Info Solutions.
