3 NFL Prop Bets to Target for Week 16

Online Sportsbook provides a variety of lines, player props, and parlays, allowing people to showcase their knowledge.

Player props closely mirror the game of fantasy football, giving you a chance to stay involved in a familiar way. With Week 16 on the horizon, here are a few standout prop bets for Sunday's action this week.

Kyler Murray - Over 240.5 Passing Yards (-118)

Coming on strong of late, Kyler Murray enters Week 16 with a matchup against the Seattle Seahawks and a player prop set at 240.5 passing yards. With the prop at such a low number, taking a chance on the rookie looks like a solid move.

Murray sits eighth in the NFL in pass attempts (482), and our models project Murray for 253.32 passing yards. With more than 10 yards of value to his listed prop, Murray could find his ceiling in this spot. While the rookie hasn't eclipsed 250 passing yards in four weeks, he still averages 30.5 passing attempts per game in that span.

Improving matters, Murray draws a fantastic matchup against the Seahawks in a high-totaled game (51.0). Seattle currently ranks 29th in passing yards allowed per game (271.0) and is 15th in pass defense, according to our schedule-adjusted metrics.

With volume on Murray's side and a solid matchup on deck, a $100 bet on Murray nets $84.75 in this spot.

Miles Sanders - Over 61.5 Rushing Yards (-112)

Another rookie exploding on the scene, Miles Sanders has filled in admirably for Jordan Howard in recent weeks. Still receiving a rookie discount, Sanders' rushing prop sits at 61.5 yards ahead of Sunday's tilt against the Dallas Cowboys.

Getting a massive workload of late, Sanders has carried the ball at least 15 times in three straight games. Last week, Sanders mustered 122 rushing yards on 19 carries. Looking to Week 16, our projections peg Sanders for 73.41 rushing yards, more than 10 above his listed prop.

As for matchup, the Cowboys have shown vulnerability against the run at times this season. As a unit, they currently rank 19th in run defense, per our metrics. Prior to facing the Los Angeles Rams last week, Dallas allowed more than 100 rushing yards to both the Buffalo Bills and Chicago Bears.

Sanders is likely to handle a feature-back workload once again in Week 16, and a $100 bet on him returns $89.29 in this spot.

Julio Jones - Over 87.5 Receiving Yards (-112)

After a monster game, Julio Jones enters Week 16 with an 87.5 receiving yardage prop. Though this seems high, Jones remains one of the few players in the NFL with this type of projection and ceiling.

Playing without Calvin Ridley in Week 15, Jones recorded a monstrous 134 receiving yards and two scores on 20 targets. While he probably falls below 20 targets this week, his receiving projection still sits at 101.09 yards, according to our models. This gives Jones about 15 yards of value here.

Improving matters, Jones and the Atlanta Falcons draw a matchup against a poor Jacksonville Jaguars D. The Jags rank 21st in pass defense, according to our metrics, and have allowed at least 260 passing yards in three straight games.

Likely to see immense target volume to close out the season, Jones has sky-high upside this week. Right now, a $100 bet on Jones eclipsing 87.5 receiving yards returns $89.29.
