3 Fantasy Football Quarterback Streamer Options for Week 15

Quarterback streaming isn't for everyone, but if you're in a standard league -- like a 10- or 12-team league that features just one starting signal caller -- grabbing potentially productive quarterbacks in good matchups off the waiver wire is often doable.

Sure, you won't have the luxury of setting it and forgetting it with Patrick Mahomes as your quarterback, but when the top-end signal-callers draw a tough matchup, their upside can oftentimes be matched by a waiver-wire option in a more favorable situation.

If you're looking for some quarterback options from the waiver wire -- regardless of league size -- we have you covered. Here are three quarterbacks rostered in fewer than roughly 40% of Yahoo leagues who are in good spots this week.

Mike White, Jets

Yahoo Roster Percentage: 20%

Mike White isn't a lock to play this week, but if he suits up, he's an excellent streaming option.

White and the New York Jets host the Detroit Lions. The Lions' defense has improved a bit in recent weeks, but it's still a unit we want to pick on. For the season, they've surrendered the most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks (24.0), and they rank as the third-worst overall D, per our schedule-adjusted metrics.

White has thrown for 952 yards across the past three games, and he'll be a low-end QB1 if he plays. If White doesn't play, it may be Joe Flacco instead, and Flacco would also have some streaming appeal.

Also, I want to briefly mention Russell Wilson (47% rostered). If he clears concussion protocol in time to play in Week 15, Wilson might be the best streamer of the week in a date with the Arizona Cardinals.

Andy Dalton, Saints

Yahoo Roster Percentage: 7%

Andy Dalton is going to start once again for the New Orleans Saints, and he gets a juicy matchup this week versus the Atlanta Falcons.

The Falcons have given up the ninth-most fantasy points per game to signal-callers (18.6). Our numbers rank Atlanta as the second-worst overall defense and the second-worst pass defense.

Dalton has shown he has the ability to take advantage of great matchups. He posted 29.54 fantasy points versus the Cardinals in Week 7 and generated 17.16 points against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 8.

Our model has Dalton projected for 15.7 points and slots him as this week's QB12.

Mac Jones, Patriots

Yahoo Roster Percentage: 18%

Mac Jones is on the road this week to face the Raiders.

While Jones is clearly a meh fantasy quarterback, he's had some quality outings against lesser defenses, putting up 23.38 fantasy points on the Minnesota Vikings three games ago. The Raiders definitely qualify as a lesser defense as they rank dead last by our metrics and have permitted the fifth-most fantasy points per game to quarterbacks (20.5).

The New England Patriots should be able to move the ball well, and if Jones gets some touchdown luck, he's capable of putting up solid numbers.

We rank him as the QB16 and project him to score 15.1 fantasy points.
