Colts' linebacker Darius Leonard is active, but he will not suit up on Thursday
Indianapolis Colts linebacker Darius Leonard is active for Thursday night's game against the New England Patriots, but he will reportedly not be in uniform.
It begs the question: why the heck is he active? It's an odd situation, frankly, but it makes sense to play it safe and rest the star rookie in a game the Colts are very likely to lose. That said, in a league where the Bills resoundingly beat the Vikings, anything could happen at Gillette Stadium this evening.
Leonard currently leads the league with 54 combined tackles through four games. The rookie has added four sacks, two passes defended, and one forced fumble.
