Royce Freeman (ankle) ruled out for Week 8 by Denver
Denver Broncos running back Royce Freeman (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 8's game at the Kansas City Chiefs.
Freeman suffered a high ankle sprain in the Week 7 win and did not practice all week. He shed his walking boot on Thursday and should be considered questionable to play in Week 9 as well. Devontae Booker will see additional snaps as Phillip Lindsay leads the rushing charge in a favorable matchup on Sunday.
Freeman has rushed for 309 yards and 4 touchdowns on 71 carries this season.
