Spencer Ware (shoulder, hamstring) rules out for Chiefs on Thursday night
Kansas City Chiefs running back Spencer Ware is inactive for Thursday night’s game versus the San Diego Chargers.
Ware had taken over as the top running back in Kansas City following the release of Kareem Hunt, but will now have to miss Week 15 after picking up multiple injuries in Week 14. Damien Williams will likely take over as the starter in Ware’s absence, with newly re-signed Charcandrick West and freshly promoted Darrel Williams mixing in.
On 20 touches in Week 14, Ware totaled 129 yards with 0 touchdowns.
