The Chicago Bears are expected to release tight end Dion Sims, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
What It Means:
The Bears will save $6 million against the cap with the move. Sims only appeared in eight games last season, catching 2 passes for 9 yards on 4 targets.
Sims recorded 17 receptions (33 targets) for 189 yards and 1 touchdown in 22 games over two seasons for the Bears.
