Chiefs release Justin Houston on Sunday
The Kansas City Chiefs have released outside linebacker Justin Houston on Sunday.
What It Means:
Houston was let go by the Chiefs on Sunday after Kansas City could not find a trade destination for their veteran linebacker. By releasing Houston, the team will save almost 29.5 million the next two seasons.
In 12 games last season, Houston produced 9 sacks and 1 interception.
