Cordarrelle Patterson reportedly will sign a two-year deal with the Bears
Free agent wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson intends to sign a two-year, $10M contract with the Chicago Bears, per Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The Bears were dead-last in the NFL on kick returns, spurring the pursuit of Patterson. The former New England Patriot will also serve as wide receiver depth for the Bears but could also see some work out of the backfield as the Matt Nagy offense is fond of their gadget plays.
Patterson took 63 touches (21 catches, 42 carries) for 475 yards and 4 touchdowns in 2018. He also averaged 28.8 yards per kick return while scoring 1 return touchdown.
