Patriots reportedly pick up Maurice Harris on 1-year deal
The New England Patriots signed wide receiver Maurice Harris, formerly of the Washington Redskins, to a 1-year contract, reports Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.
What It Means:
Harris could provide the Patriots with another option in the slot. He hauled in 28 of 40 career receptions in 12 games for Washington last season after not making much noise during his first two years in the league. New England is also reportedly bringing in slot man Bruce Ellington.
Harris finished with 304 scoreless yards on 47 targets in 2018.
