Terrance Mitchell signed from Cowboys' practice squad
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Terrance Mitchell has been signed from the team's practice squad.
With Tylor Patmon cut and Morris Claiborne (hamstring) doubtful, Mitchell could play significant snaps against the New York Jets' spread attack in Week 15. The Cowboys added him to their practice squad earlier this month after he was waived by the Chicago Bears in November.
In terms of total points prevented above expectation, the Cowboys' pass defense ranks 14th while the Jets' aerial attack is 18th in the league based on points scored above expectation.
