Maurice Harris reportedly rising up the Patriots' depth chart
According to the Boston Herald, New England Patriots wide receiver Maurice Harris is a lock to make the 53-man roster and would be a starter if the season started today.
Harris continues to impress the New England coaching staff and has a real shot at earning a starting role in the depleted receiver corps. Julian Edelman remains at the top of the depth chart with Harris, rookie N'Keal Harry, and Phillip Dorsett behind him. Demaryius Thomas remains out with an Achilles injury while Josh Gordon is still serving an indefinite suspension.
Currently, our models project Harris for 13.0 catches, 184.1 yards, and 1.5 touchdowns in 2019, but that could change with a starting role.
