Seahawks' DK Metcalf needs minor knee surgery
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf (knee) will have surgery this week but isn't expected to be sidelined too long.
Head coach Pete Carroll announced the news following Sunday's second preseason game. While the Seahawks aren't showing any concern about Metcalf's long term health, the surgery (however minor it is) leaves the rookie questionable to play in Week 1. His absence would leave more snaps available for David Moore and Jaron Brown alongside Tyler Lockett.
numberFire's models project Metcalf as the WR76 in fantasy with 32.8 catches, 467.1 yards, and 2.5 touchdowns in 2019.
