Seahawks acquire Jadeveon Clowney from Texans, per reports
The Seattle Seahawks have reportedly acquired defensive end Jadeveon Clowney from the Houston Texans in exchange for a third-round pick, pass rusher Barkevious Mingo and linebacker Jacob Martin.
The Seahawks get much needed defensive line help in the form of one of the better edge rushers in the league. Houston was reportedly looking to get offensive line improvements in the deal, but could not even do that.
Clowney had 9 sacks and 47 total tackles last season to earn a third consecutive Pro Bowl appearance.
