Devin White (illness) will play in Week 1 for Tampa Bay
Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Devin White will play on Sunday in the team's game against the San Francisco 49ers, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
White was questionable entering the weekend with an illness, but the first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft will be suiting up to make his professional debut. He's expected to be a leader in the Bucs' new-look defense under defensive coordinator Todd Bowles.
Our models project White for 5.7 tackles, 0.02 sacks, 0.04 passes defended, 0.02 interceptions and 0.06 fumble recoveries.
