Patriots release wide receiver Antonio Brown
The New England Patriots have released wide receiver Antonio Brown on Friday.
What It Means:
After a flurry of legal issues and distractions, the Patriots have decided to move on from the veteran receiver after just one game. At this point, it's anyone's guess what will happen with Brown and his off-field drama but fantasy players should restore their faith in Julian Edelman and Josh Gordon as the Patriots' main receiving options.
In one game this season, Brown hauled in 4 receptions for 56 yards and one touchdown.
