Alshon Jeffery (calf) officially out Sunday for Eagles
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery is inactive for Week 3 against the Detroit Lions.
As expected. Jeffery also appears unlikely to suit up for the Eagles' Week 4 matchup with the Green Bay Packers on Thursday night. Nelson Agholor, rookie J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, and Mack Hollins will run in three-wide sets. Zach Ertz could see a few more targets and Dallas Goedert (calf) may also see a boost.
The Eagles' receivers draw a plus matchup in Week 3 against a Lions defense that has given up the 10th-most receiving yards so far this season.
