Devin Singletary (hamstring) expected to sit again for Bills on Sunday
Buffalo Bills third-round running back Devin Singletary (questionable, hamstring) is not expected to play Week 4 against the New England Patriots on Sunday, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Singletary returned to practice this week and may go through a pre-game routine, but the expectation is that he will sit out a second straight game and then return in Week 5. That sets Frank Gore up for lead work again, with T.J. Yeldon factoring in on passing downs.
Singletary has 155 offensive yards and a touchdown through the first two games of his NFL career. The Patriots have held opposing running backs to 100 scoreless yards on 43 attempts (2.3 yards per carry) through three games.
