Saquon Barkley (ankle) ruled out for Giants Week 5
New York Giants running back Saquon Barkley (ankle) is out for Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
Barkley will miss a second straight game, but it looks like a Week 6 return is well within reach. Wayne Gallman is going to handle lead back duties for the Giants again versus the Vikings.
Entering Week 5, the Vikings were 11th in the NFL in rushing yards allowed per game (94.2) and tied for 7th in rushing yards allowed per carry (3.7). They've yielded just 1 touchdown on the ground.
