Saints' Michael Thomas catches 2 touchdowns in Week 5
New Orleans Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas had 11 receptions for 182 yards and 2 touchdowns on 13 targets in a 31-24 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 5.
Thomas had his best game of the season and continued to be the focal point of the Saints passing attack. Thomas consistently got behind Tampa Bay's secondary and looked unstoppable throughout the game. Facing a daunting Buccaneers run defense, the Saints opted to air it out on Sunday and Teddy Bridgewater rewarded that decision by throwing 4 touchdowns. Next up for Thomas and the Saints is a showdown with the Jacksonville Jaguars in Week 6.
Thomas scored 35.7 FanDuel points against the Buccaneers, the second most of any wide receiver on the early slate. For the season he is up to 45 receptions for 543 yards and 3 touchdowns.
