A.J. Green (ankle) returns to practice Thursday, Bengals opposed to trade
Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green (ankle) returned to practice on a limited basis Thursday.
It was Green's first work since July 27, potentially putting him on track to play Week 7 against the Baltimore Ravens. Bengals head coach Zac Taylor addressed and immediately shot down recent trade rumors. "I’ve heard the speculation," Taylor stated. "We are not trading that guy." Green is in the expiring year of his contract and turns 32 next offseason.
Operating under the assumption Green will not return until Week 8, he's the WR37 in numberFire's season-long fantasy rankings. He's projected for 83.3 targets, 46.4 receptions, 646.6 yards, and 3.98 touchdowns.
