Lions' Kerryon Johnson sets his sights on a 1,000-yard season ahead of Week 6
Detroit Lions running back Kerryon Johnson said that "for me, that was a goal of mine in college and I continue to keep that as a goal. It's always kind of been a dream, a small goal of mine to be able to do that" when asked about what a 1,000 yard season would mean to him.
Johnson is on pace to achieve his dream this season, averaging 62.8 yards per game. That number is likely to increase as Johnson plays more games with the expanded workload he has seen following C.J. Anderson's release in Week 3. In Week 6 Johnson is projected by our models to see 18.3 carries against a Packers run defense rated 32nd overall by our power rankings.
Our models project Johnson for 82.3 yards, .51 touchdowns, and 15.1 FanDuel points against the Green Bay Packers. He is priced at $6,900 on the Sunday-Monday slate.
