Packers' Allen Lazard emerges in fourth quarter
Green Bay Packers wide receiver Allen Lazard caught 4 passes (5 targets) for 65 yards and 1 touchdown in a 23-22, Week 6 win over the Detroit Lions on Monday night.
Prior to the fourth quarter, Lazard hadn't been targeted all season. However, after Geronimo Allison left with a concussion and chest injury and Darrius Shepherd muffed a punt and dropped a pass that led to an interception, Lazard's number was called. He wound up pacing the Packers in receiving yards and tied for most receptions. The 2018 undrafted free agent could remain involved in Week 7 versus the Oakland Raiders if Allison and Davante Adams (toe) are unavailable.
Lazard finished with 14.5 FanDuel points on Monday night. The Packers play a Raiders defense in Week 7 that is just 24th in the NFL in receiving yards allowed per game.
