Kerryon Johnson gains 34 yards for Lions on 13 carries
Detroit Lions running back Kerryon Johnson rushed 13 times for 34 yards and 1 touchdown and caught 2 passes (4 targets) for 27 yards in a 23-22, Week 6 loss to the Green Bay Packers on Monday night.
The Lions scaled back Johnson's workload in this one after he logged 20-plus touches the previous two games. It was the fourth time in five games that the second-year back was held under 3.6 yards per carry. Things may not be much easier in Week 7 against a Minnesota Vikings defense that is 8th in the NFL in YPC.
Kerryon scored 13.1 FanDuel points on Monday night. He has 285 rushing yards (3.3 YPC), 126 receiving yards, 9 catches, and 3 touchdowns this season. Johnson is a top-10 running back in numberFire's Week 7 fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 14.8 FP versus the Vikings.
