Redskins' Adrian Peterson (quad) DNP on Wednesday
Washington Redskins running back Adrian Peterson did not practice on Wednesday due to a quad injury.
What It Means:
Peterson may just be getting a day of rest following his 118-yard performance against the Miami Dolphins in Week 6. If he plays, Peterson will face a much more difficult challenge in Week 7 against a San Francisco 49ers run defense rated 7th overall by our power rankings. If Peterson doesn't play, Wendell Smallwood is next in line for carries with Chris Thompson dealing with a toe injury.
Our models project Peterson for 52.7 yards, .25 touchdowns, and 8.4 FanDuel points against the 49ers in Week 7. He is priced at $5,700.
