Matt Ryan (ankle) still sidelined for Falcons

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan (ankle) did not practice again on Thursday.

What It Means:

Despite two missed practices to start the week, Falcons head coach Dan Quinn claims Ryan is still expected to play Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks. If that proves to be false, 38-year-old Matt Schaub will make his first start in a Falcons uniform since 2005. That would be a sizable downgrade for Julio Jones and the rest of the offense.

Ryan has completed 70.9 percent of his passes for 2,170 yards (7.6 per attempt) with 15 touchdowns and 8 interceptions this season, averaging 21.3 FanDuel points. The Seahawks are giving up 19.4 FanDuel points per game to opposing quarterbacks, 13th in the NFL.
