Dante Pettis (knee) limited on Thursday for 49ers
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Dante Pettis was a limited participant at practice on Thursday ahead of the team's Week 8 game against the Carolina Panthers.
Pettis was a late addition to the injury report on Thursday, as he's reportedly dealing with a knee ailment. The 49ers just picked up Emmanuel Sanders from Denver, perhaps in an effort to add more depth to the group. With that trade and this injury, Pettis could be on the outside looking in in terms of a regular role.
