Jaylen Samuels (knee) 'ready to go' for Steelers Week 9
Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Samuels (knee) is "ready to go," head coach Mike Tomlin said.
Samuels hasn't played since Week 5, but with James Conner (shoulder) and Benny Snell (knee) both banged up, he may find himself in a workhorse role on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. More will be known on Conner's status as the week progresses.
Samuels averaged 109.3 scrimmage yards on 18.0 touches a game in three starts with Conner sidelined last season. The Colts are tied for fifth-worst in the NFL in yards allowed per carry.
