Matt Breida (ankle) reportedly playing for 49ers Thursday night
San Francisco 49ers running back Matt Breida (ankle) is playing in Thursday night's Week 9 game against the Arizona Cardinals, reports Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.
Breida "felt good" Thursday morning, per Fowler, and is "good to go." There's obvious re-injury risk at less than 100 percent on a short week, but it's also a fantastic matchup. Raheem Mostert (knee) was limited on Wednesday and is questionable. Jeff Wilson is next up behind Tevin Coleman, Breida, and Mostert.
The Cardinals are bottom-10 in the NFL in both rushing yards allowed per game and yards allowed per carry.
