Chris Thompson (toe) still out for Washington in Week 9
Washington Redskins running back Chris Thompson will not play on Sunday in the team's Week 9 game against the Buffalo Bills.
Thompson hasn't played the last two weeks with his toe ailment, and after not practicing this week, he'll miss yet another game. That just means more work for Adrian Peterson, who has been the prototypical bell cow since Bill Callahan's takeover.
In six games this season, Thompson has 23 carries for 79 yards with 27 catches for 276 yards.
