Evan Engram week-to-week for Giants with mid-foot sprain
New York Giants tight end Evan Engram has been diagnosed with a mid-foot sprain and is considered "day-to-day, week-to-week," per head coach Pat Shurmur.
Engram could be dealing with a Lisfranc injury, which has kept Cam Newton out since Week 2. It looks like Rhett Ellison will be the Giants' starting tight end against the New York Jets in Week 10 on Sunday. Golden Tate and Saquon Barkley should gobble up targets while Engram and Sterling Shepard (concussion) are unavailable.
Engram is averaging 10.9 FanDuel points per game. He has 44 catches on 68 targets for 467 yards (10.3 per catch) and 3 touchdowns.
