Giants' Sterling Shepard (concussion) could reportedly go on IR
The New York Giants are "seriously considering" placing wide receiver Sterling Shepard on injured reserve for concussion-like symptoms, reports SNY's Ralph Vacchiano.
Shepard has had two concussions this season. He practiced in full last week and cleared protocol, but symptoms popped back up and he was forced to re-enter protocol and miss a fourth consecutive game. The Giants may wait until their Week 11 bye before making a decision. The fourth-year receiver is 26-years-old.
Shepard has 25 catches for 267 (10.7 yards) yards and 1 touchdown on 34 targets in four games this season.
