49ers' Dante Pettis to keep seeing fewer opportunities
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Dante Pettis will continue to see fewer opportunities, head coach Kyle Shanahan said.
"The more he doesn't take advantage of his opportunities, the less opportunities he gets," Shanahan stated. Pettis was held without a catch on 3 targets in Monday's loss to the Seattle Seahawks, even with Emmanuel Sanders (ribs) leaving early and George Kittle (knee) inactive. The 49ers host the Arizona Cardinals in Week 11.
Pettis has just 11 catches on 24 targets for 109 yards and 2 touchdowns in nine games this season. He's the WR95 in numberFire's season-long fantasy rankings.
