Free agent running back Jay Ajayi is visiting the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday.
What It Means:
Jordan Howard hasn't been cleared for contact due to a stinger and Darren Sproles is done for the year with a torn hip flexor, so the Eagles may need some backfield help for Sunday's Week 11 game against the New England Patriots. Ajayi is fully recovered from the torn ACL he suffered last season but hasn't been signed this season. Miles Sanders would likely start if Howard is ruled out.
Ajayi rushed 45 times for 184 yards (4.1 per carry) and 3 touchdowns in four games for the Eagles last season.
