Schefter: Eagles' Jordan Howard (shoulder) not expected to play Week 11
Philadelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard is not expected to play on Sunday in the team's Week 11 game against the New England Patriots, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Howard is dealing with a not unserious shoulder injury, and while he was questionable entering the weekend, it seems as though he'll be sidelined against the defending champions. Howard's absence means extended run for Miles Sanders, and newly signed Jay Ajayi could be thrust into a larger role.
In nine games this season, Howard has 119 carries for 525 yards and six touchdowns with 10 carries for 69 yards and a score.
