Carlos Hyde wants Texans to be better on ground
Houston Texans running back Carlos Hyde says the team needs to do a "better job" running the ball.
Aside from a 41-yard touchdown from Hyde, the Texans managed just 79 yards on 21 carries last week. Hyde knows the offense will need to emphasize the ground game more in Thursday's Week 12 matchup with the Indianapolis Colts, but that may be tough against the 9th-ranked rushing defense in the league (96.8 yards per game). He was held to 12 carries for 35 yards when the Texans played the Colts in Week 7.
Hyde is the RB27 in numberFire's Week 12 fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 8.5 FanDuel points, at a cost of $13,000 on the Thursday-only slate. He's priced at $7,300 on the main slate.
