Patrick Mahomes injures hand in Chiefs' victory
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes injured his right (throwing) hand in Sunday's Week 14 victory over the New England Patriots.
Mahomes played the entire game but the injury could explain why the offense struggled to move the ball in the second half. "It doesn’t feel great right now but it’s something that you play with," Mahomes offered in his post-game presser. "For me, it’s about going out there and competing and relying on my teammates to help me out whenever I’m not feeling 100 percent." Mahomes should be fine for Week 15 against the Denver Broncos.
Mahomes completed 26-of-40 passes for 283 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception in Week 14, finishing with 14.9 FanDuel points.
