Eagles' Alshon Jeffery needs Lisfranc surgery
Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery (foot, injured reserve) has been diagnosed with a Lisfranc injury and needs surgery, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
The Eagles already placed Jeffery on injured reserve, but the injury is going to sideline the aging receiver for multiple months. He's been limited by injuries to 23 games over the past two seasons.
Jeffery caught 43 passes on 73 targets for 490 yards and 4 touchdowns in 10 appearances this season.
