Panthers to make quarterback decision Wednesday
Carolina Panthers interim head coach Perry Fewell said he'll make a decision Wednesday on the team's starting quarterback.
The Panthers may want to turn to third-round pick Will Grier following another woeful performance from Kyle Allen in Sunday's 30-24, Week 15 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Allen completed 25-of-41 passes for 277 yards with a touchdown and 3 interceptions. Incredibly, the interceptions came in a five-play span. Allen has now committed 8 turnovers over the last three games. The Panthers will play the Indianapolis Colts in Week 16.
Allen scored 14.6 FanDuel points on Sunday. He's completed 62.1 percent of his passes for 3,027 yards (6.8 per attempt), 17 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions in 12 games.
