Alexander Mattison (ankle) among those inactive for Minnesota in Week 17 as Vikings rest many of their starters
Minnesota Vikings running back Alexander Mattison is inactive for Week 17's game against the Chicago Bears with an ankle injury.
Mattison has not recovered in time to play in Week 17. Minnesota will also be without Dalvin Cook (chest/shoulder) and two of their starting tackles. With both his tackles inactive, Kirk Cousins is expected to operate in a back-up only role as Minnesota sets their sights on the playoffs. Our models expect Boone to see 13.7 touches in Week 17 with Mattison inactive.
