Cowboys to hire Mike McCarthy as head coach, per report
The Dallas Cowboys will hire Mike McCarthy as their next head coach, according to Jay Glazer of Fox Sports.
McCarthy coached the Packers from 2006 until 2018 and will replace Jason Garrett in Dallas. Glazer reports there will be an official announcement and press conference later in the week.
In 13 seasons as a head coach, McCarthy went 125-77-2 (61.8% winning percentage) and 10-8 in the playoffs, including a victory in Super Bowl 45.
