Rapoport: Bud Dupree receives franchise tag from Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers have reportedly placed the franchise tag on linebacker Bud Dupree.
What It Means:
Dupree will be retained under a linebacker's franchise tag worth around $15.8 million. The 27-year old will play an important role in Pittsburgh's pass rush after producing a career-best 48 pressures in 2019.
In 928 snaps season, Dupree accounted for 11.5 sacks and 12 tackles for a loss.
