Kirk Cousins comes to terms with Vikings on 2-year extension
The Minnesota Vikings signed quarterback Kirk Cousins to a two-year extension.
The extension is worth $66 million over two years and keeps Cousins on the Vikings through at least 2022. Barring any trades, Cousins should benefit once again from one of the most talented supporting casts in the NFL as he enters his age-32 season. He tossed 26 touchdowns and 6 interceptions in 15 games last season.
Cousins' 5.9 touchdown percentage was a career-high since taking over as a starter for the Washington Redskins in 2014. He finished as the QB21 in FanDuel points per game (16.69).
