Jason Pierre-Paul re-signs with Buccaneers for 2 years, $27 million
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers re-signed defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul to a 2-year contract worth $27 million.
It may have been overlooked by Shaq Barrett's breakout campaign, but Pierre-Paul turned in another solid season for the Bucs after returning in Week 8 from a broken neck he suffered in an offseason car accident. He recorded 8.5 sacks and 2 forced fumbles with 27 tackles in 10 games.
JPP has recorded 21 sacks and 54 quarterback pressures through two years in Tampa Bay.
