Rams allow Nickell Robey-Coleman to enter market
The Los Angeles Rams will not exercise defensive back Nickell Robey-Coleman's $3.5 million team option for 2020.
The move likely has more to do with the salary cap than level of play. Robey had 7 pass deflections and 2 forced fumbles last season. He missed just one game during a three-year stint with the Rams.
NRC has graded out at 70.0-plus each of the last four season on Pro Football Focus. He permitted 6.3 yards per target and 1 touchdown last season on a 64.1 completion percentage.
