Brian Hoyer released by Colts
Quarterback Brian Hoyer was released by the Indianapolis Colts on Saturday.
Following the signing of Philip Rivers by the Colts, Hoyer will be looking for a new team once again. He has played for seven different teams over his 12-year career, including 23 total games with the New England Patriots, who, it just so happens, may have a need at the position.
Hoyer took part in 4 games for the Colts last season, completing 35 of his 65 pass attempts for 372 yards, 4 touchdowns, and 4 interceptions. His NEP per pass of -0.31 ranked 5th worst in the league, among quarterbacks with at least 30 pass attempts.
