Jets sign former Colts' defensive back Pierre Desir to one-year deal
Defensive back Pierre Desir has agreed to a one-year deal with the New York Jets.
The former 4th round draft pick from 2014 signed a contract extension with the Colts last offseason but was released just one year into the deal. The 29-year-old is expected to immediately step into a starting role for the Jets.
Desir allowed a completion percentage of 64.9% last season, up from 54.2% in 2018. He also allowed 5 touchdowns, up from 3, and a passer rating of 96.5, up from 85.6, but still managed to pull down a career-high 3 interceptions.
